Spoilers for "Blindspot" season 2 indicate that one of the characters would be leaving for good. Many are now speculating as to who will be out of the show. But before that happens, episode 16 will have the team defending themselves from an old rival.

Econo Times reports that the episode, entitled "Senile Lines," will have the team investigating a death in a foster home. They discovered the death and opted to investigate because of a tattoo.

Not much is said about the episode aside from the fact that they will also be under investigation by an old rival. The site also reveals that an old villain will be returning to the show. Aaron Abrams will reprise his role as US Attorney Matthew Weitz. Fans of "Blindspot" will remember him from season 1 as the one who investigated the misconduct of Mayfair and who even bugged Zapata.

Meanwhile, there are reports that a core character in the series will soon be leaving permanently. It will definitely not be Jane and Weller. The choice is now between Patterson, Zapata or Roman. Although there are reports that it might be Reade who will leave.

As for Roman, TV Guide reports that Jane is actually pushing for him to go on an assignment. It seems that Jane is recommending that Roman be allowed to help them in their case at the foster home. This is because Roman grew up as an orphan and he may have some valuable insight that could prove helpful to the team. This will also be the perfect time for Jane to show Roman that by siding with the FBI, he is actually helping the good guys.

Who do you think will be the character leaving "Blindspot" season 2? Could Roman be the one, or is Reade? Share your thoughts and comments below.
