Harry Styles talked about his upcoming solo album that is set to release on May 12, 2017. The "Dunkirk" star also spilled the beans on his past romantic relationship with "Bad Blood" singer Taylor Swift.

"Sign Of The Times" is the first solo lead single released by Styles from his self-titled debut album. Talking about his upcoming album Styles says, "It's different from what you'd expect," he continues, "It made me realize the Harry (in 1D) was kind of the digitized Harry. Almost like a character." He also adds that after listening to the album fans might react like, 'This is Harry Styles?" reports Variety.

The first released song from Styles' solo album talks about a mother giving birth to a child. He reveals that he wished he could have named his album as "Sign Of The Times." But that did not happen because it has been already taken by some other artist.

This year Styles has two vital projects on his list. First is his solo album release and second is his debut film "Dunkirk". The film is set to open in theaters on July 21, 2017. And the plot of the film is based on World War II, concerning the Dunkirk evacuation.

Meanwhile, the "One Direction" band has planned a hiatus in order to pursue their individual projects. Styles has revealed in an interview that he was the first one who brought up this idea, reported Rolling Stone. It happened in late 2014 and he explains the move now. "You realize you're exhausted and you don't want to drain people's belief in you," Styles told the aforementioned source.

When the interviewer asked him about his split with Swift, Styles says that "Certain things don't work out." He continues, "There's a lot of things that can be right, and it's still wrong." "Style" a song from 1989 album hinted about her and Harry Styles relationship. But this has been not officially revealed yet. They both split their ways back in Jan. 2013.
