Apple has yet to officially announce its latest tablet, the "iPad Pro 2," but leaked specs are showing awesome features like a bezel-less design and a Touch Bar. The new device is also said to have powerful hardware that can allow it to replace the MacBook Air.

According to a report from Donklephant, sources are saying that Apple's latest tablet will be having specs and features that will allow it to compete with the "MacBook Air 2." Apple is planning to reposition the tablet segment with the "iPad Pro 2."

The current 12.9-inch "iPad Pro" model that has Apple Pencil and a keyboard are priced like a laptop. And the report said that Apple is planning to market its latest tablet to professionals.

As for the "iPad Pro 2's" leaked feature, rumors are saying that Apple will be putting a whole new chassis in their latest tablet. The new design overhaul will allow the tablet to be foldable like a laptop, to go along with its bezel-free design.

Its new Touch Bar, which is a new concept for the "iPad Pro 2," is said to add great functionality to the device compared to other devices and its predecessors. As for its hardware power, News4C is expecting Apple to equip its new tablet with impressive hardware.

The report said that one of the reasons why the "iPad Pro" models are selling well is due to it being the most powerful tablet that Apple has made. So it's safe to assume that Apple will be coming out with an even more powerful tablet than the current model.

Another reason for having a powerful "iPad Pro 2" is due to the threat of the upcoming Microsoft "Surface Pro 5." Donklephant reports that Apple will likely use its latest A10x chipset to power the tablet.

No word yet on when the "iPad Pro 2" will come out, but it is expected to be released sometime in May or June. Check out the video below for more news on Apple's latest tablet.
