The iOS jailbreaking world has been quiet recently, and fans who have been waiting for an iOS 10.2.1 or 10.3 jailbreak tool are wondering if there will be an update soon. Apple has recently released an iOS 10.3.1 update, and a lot are asking if the hackers will be able to catch up. The best advice that hackers can give you for now is to stay on 10.2.1, if you want to jailbreak.

Travelers Today reported that the recent iOS 10.3.1 include critical bug fixes, including the WiFi issue wherein a hacker may gain control over your phone by executing an arbitrary code. This update came just barely a week after the iOS 10.3 came out. The constant update just makes it harder to release a current jailbreaking tool.

According to TNH Online, there are reports claiming that popular iOS hackers like Pangu and TaiG are now working on a jailbreaking tool that will function from iOS 10.2.1 up to iOS 10.3. Luca Todesco has announced that he is "done" with jailbreaking, so you can cross him off his list. The Italian jailbreaker took to Twitter on March 28 to update his fans, saying: "1. Save blobs 2. If you're currently on 10.2.1 stay on it if you want to jailbreak. 3. I am done with jailbreaking."

If you are one of those who are waiting for a new jailbreaking tool, it's best to downgrade from iOS 10.3 to a previous iOS version. Additionally, those who have upgraded to 10.2.1 can downgrade back to 10.2 to enjoy yalu102. Take note that yalu102 does not work on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, so if you have either of these devices, your option would be to jailbreak on iOS 10.1.1 - provided that you downgrade to the said firmware. But then again, Apple is currently no longer signing the firmware as iOS 10.1.1, Redmond Pie reported.
