After completing a treatment program for heavy alcohol dependence, "Batman" and the upcoming "Justice League" star Ben Affleck had taken his family to Disneyland with their son, Samuel Affleck. Earlier this month, the star publicly admitted going through the program in an effort to "become a better father" to his three kids.

In paparazzi photos from AoL, Ben is seen carrying his son over his shoulders and going through the many rides of Disneyland in California. According to an anonymous observer, Ben Affleck was "like any other dad at Disney" who enjoyed time "in a pleasant mood" with his son, noting that he "was very engaged and talking to each other a lot."

In his Facebook update early March, Affleck said he is undergoing treatment for alcohol addiction and acknowledged that he has repeatedly confronted his alcohol dependency. In his update, he also criticized the stigma associated with getting a therapy, that "there is no shame in getting help when you need it" and he hopes his act is seen as "a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help."

Ben Affleck also said that he thanks co-parent and wife Jennifer Garner for her support and care for their kids while he was out to rehabilitate himself. According to ET's source, Ben Affleck was sober during the February Oscars after having completed his rehabilitation program. A sober male companion had also assisted him in the process.

The actor is reported to be spending more time with his children. According to People's source, Affleck is "relishing time with his children" given the "upbeat mood" when he is with his family. He is reportedly spotted to have taken his children to school along with Jennifer Garner during one school morning. In a statement, he said he likes taking his children to school as it is something "that feels good."
