Kate Middleton attended the "Best Beginning" film series last Thursday. It is a partner of one of her charities, the Heads Together charity. According to her, motherhood is very rewarding and wonderful but she is still faced with challenges and difficulties that leave her feeling insecure.

The Duchess of Cambridge shared how it is to be the mother of Prince George, 3, and Princess Charlotte, 1. Admittedly, she revealed that her transition from an independent person to a caretaker was not easy as per The Cut.

Middleton said that even though she has a staff that supports her at home, she still has not prepared to become the perfect mother. She also has the feeling of ignorance and inadequacy. Motherhood is full of joy, love and other complex emotions. But it also gives apprehensions and tiredness. She added that women need to talk about the stresses and strains of motherhood.

She also tackled the issue of maternal depression which others call post-partum depression. She informed that it affects 1 in 9 women and many are suffering silently for fear of being known to be helpless. She said that asking for help should not be perceived as a sign of weakness.

Kate Middleton is a hands-on mother. In fact, she wants to be with her kids most of the time. When they were small, the Duchess and Prince William decided to live in Norfolk to be with the kids and to let them have a normal childhood.

But now, she has to leave their suburban home to be with Prince George when he starts schooling in London as reported by the Telegraph. Amazingly, Middleton is a hands-on mother despite being preoccupied with the royal duties handed down to her by Queen Elizabeth.

Kate Middleton is a trying hard and doting mother to her kids and still serves her husband as a wife and partner. She is indeed getting ready for more royal duties in preparation for the time when her husband becomes king.
