Fans of "Hunter x Hunter" know that a hiatus is not something new with this Shonen series. The manga has had a number of breaks, and it still has a huge following, but the long hiatuses just make more people frustrated. Now it seems that there would not be a return at all after chapter 360.

When the manga returned in April of 2016 after a two-year hiatus, fans were ecstatic to witness Gon Freecs' comeback, ComicBook said. However, it was short-lived because just about three months after, it went on another break yet again. Since then, we have not heard any news about "Hunter x Hunter" chapter 361.

Chapter 360 was released on July 4, and it was under the "Dark Continent Expedition" arc. It ended with Kurapika trying to contact his fellow Hunters. The Nen beasts have disappeared, but there's one left and it is sticking to Sairid which influences him to murder the other guards. He goes on with his murder spree, but Kurapika is getting ready to face him.

The last chapter clearly leaves a lot of unanswered questions, and so fans are understandably frustrated over the fact that there is still no update on the fate of the beloved manga series. Creator Yoshihiro Togashi has been quiet about a comeback, and the reason could be blamed on his physical condition because he suffers from chronic back pain.

But reports say that he was spotted in January at a party for artists in Japan. So hopefully, he is well enough to work on "Hunter x Hunter" chapter 361. Meanwhile, Crunchyroll reported that "Monster Hunter XX" will have a collaboration with Gon. Gon will appear in the game sporting a skyscraper-hair in his adult form, and he also has items like the Gon Head, Gon Suit, Gon Arms, and Gon Legs. At least fans would be happy to know that they will still be able to have a glimpse of Gon.
