We all know that the manga series has ended, and now, after over a decade, it seems like "Naruto Shippuden" is coming to an end. The finale has been teased, and fans will witness our hero getting married.

According to Crunchyroll, as of the next issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, it is going to be 17 days until the "Naruto Shippuden" wraps up its adaptation of "Konoha Hiden: The Perfect Day for a Wedding." This is the 2015 novel about Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyūga's wedding.

This episode will air on March 23 with the anime's 500th episode, or the 720th episode of the overall "Naruto" anime franchise. This upcoming episode will focus on  Iruka's message to Naruto as Naruto's wedding present, and it is not yet clear if the anime will continue after this.

ComicBook said that the beloved anime finally caught up with its manga last year as Naruto Uzumaki went head-to-head against Sasuke Uchiha after the Fourth Great Ninja War. This confrontation ended with the two reconciling, which reunited Team 7 after years of being apart.

About three months ago, the anime series explored "Konoha Hiden" when it adapted the first of three epilogue novels. "Naruto: Sasuke's Story - Sunrise" was the first to be animated, then "Naruto: Shikamaru's Story" was also brought to life. During the past weeks, the "Naruto: Konoha Hiden" was brought to the anime series.

Although there is still a chance that "Naruto Shippuden" anime will continue, but a lot of fans are sad about the news of the beloved anime coming to an end. However, don't be too sad just yet because "Boruto: Next Generations" will debut next month.

"Boruto: Next Generations" is set to debut on April 5 and TV Tokyo will also house the anime. Although it is not likely that the network will do both the "Naruto Shippuden" and the spin-off, but it's too early to say. Official confirmation is yet to be made.
