Teppei Takamiya together with his trusty B't, X will be back in action in their own version of DVD series. The series premiered back in 1996 giving each child wonderful memories with it's amazing story and action-packed scenes. Now, a Dallas based company had got their hands on the epic anime series and are now in the process of producing home video release.

"B't X" was originally based on the manga series written by Masami Kuromada who is also popularly known for his other manga series "Saint Seiya". In fact, "B't X" shared the same premise with the later but was introduced with a different setting. The premature ending of "Saint Seiya" due to the demands of its publishers led to Kuromada develop another series with the same elements.

According to Anime News Network, the story revolves around an ordinary boy named Teppei Takamiya whose brother was abducted by the evil Machine Empire. Teppie will accidentally awaken a B't machine named X which will help him in saving both the world and his brother. The anime version consists of 25 episodes with "Lupin III" director Mamoru Hamatsu took composition and directing roles for the series.

TMS Entertainment took over the animation and Eisaku Inoue and Hideyuki Motohashi worked on the character designs. Illumitoon Entertainment previously acquired the licensing deal for the series where they released two DVD volumes of the first eight episodes in 2007. However the release of the continuation of the series was canceled for a whole lot of reasons.

Last year, Anime Midstream announced at the Anime Fest that they acquired the license for the hit anime series. The upcoming release will include all of the 25 episodes of the first season with dual audios with English and Japanese dub versions as reported by Crunchyroll. Anime Midstream's Facebook page have recently announced that the home video release is just around the corner which delighted lots of fans.
