"One Punch Man" has become a world-wide phenomenon after its release showcasing the right mix of comedy, epic action scenes and elaborate story-telling. The anime series received numerous positive feedbacks and merchandised good based on the series is heavily in demand.

Though there is a confirmation for a second season, there are no official announcement regarding the matter. However, an exclusive home media release is now available thanks to Viz Media.

According to Anime News Network, Viz Media has announced that six original video anime or OVA will be released together with the Blu-ray Disk release of the series. The episodes are now available for pre-orders and the official release date will be on April 25. The release will be available on three options to better suit the needs of the fans and enthusiasts.

The popular choice is the limited edition Blu-ray Disc/DVD combo pack which includes a deluxe, four disk collection containing the 12 episodes of the series in 1080p HD format. It will also feature the OVA versions which is originally written by the author of the series under the pseudo name ONE. All the goodies will be enclosed with an exclusive shipboard box with special designs and packed with 6 full-color art cards and booklet containing info about the series.

A standard Blu-ray edition will also be available featuring all the episodes and OVA in 1080p HD video. On the other hand, DVD set will have two discs in 480p format with an awesome O-card packaging and special foil printing as reported by Action Figure Insider. All of the release will have a dual language option where the English dub as well as the original Japanese dub will be available.

The combo pack will be available for $59.99, the standard Blu-ray for $49.99 and the DVD version for only $39.99. Viz Media is one of the publishers to have the simulcast rights for the original series and they are really excited to release their home media editions. "We're very excited to be releasing these amazing home media editions and invite fans to get in on the 'ONE-PUNCH MAN' fun with the debut of this celebrated series," said Viz Media Senior Director of Animation Marketing, Charlene Ingram.
