Hollywood's golden couple, Angelia Jolie and Brad Pitt have been rumored to have secretly gotten married during a vacation to the Parrot Cay resort in Turks & Caicos over Christmas. Now, the resort has got world-wide media attention.

The resort's website describes Parrot Cay as "one of the most secluded and exclusive resort islands in the northern Caribbean. Just 35 minutes by boat from Providenciales, Parrot Cay beckons with over a thousand acres of pristine white-sand beaches and lush  tropical landscapes.

Media outlets such as The New York Post reported that the couple and Pitt's parents were on Parrot Cay.

USA Today reported that a Parrot Cay spokesperson said that they do not comment on what celebrities have stayed at their properties.

It's a haven for celebrities with many visiting and staying for the stunning setting and relaxing atmosphere. USA Today reported that other celebrities have also stayed there including Janet Jackson, Julia Roberts, Jerry Seinfeld and Justin Timberlake.

Parrot Cay also boasts the award-winning Shambala Retreat. Their website states that it "restores and nurtures with Asian-inspired holistic therapies. The island's world-class cuisine tempts the palate while nourishing the body."

Lodging goes for $500 + per night. For the more high-end, renting a three bedroom Como Villa with a pool and butler goes for $6,500 a night plus tax. A main house with three bedrooms and two four-bedroom guesthouses can go for $30,000 per night.

A" short walk from the cottages, Parrot Cay's studio beach house suites and two-bedroom villas offer enhanced privacy and a divine sense of total seclusion. For guests seeking the ultimate escape, luxury and service, six private homes offer inspiring ocean views, spectacular sunsets, private butler service and amenities designed to meet your every need - for an island getaway like none other," says Parrot Cay's website.
