Nick Cannon welcomes his new bundle of joy on Tuesday. The American rapper-comedian went on Instagram and announces the birth of his son whom he named 'Golden'. This was his third child and his first with the former Miss Arizona Britanny Bell.

It may be a period of turmoil for the "All That" alum who announced he was leaving "America's Got Talent" early this month. This is prior to the "breach of contract" NBC brought up after the inflammatory jokes Cannon made during his stand-up comedy show. But this doesn't prevent the Californian crooner from being a proud dad as he went on Instagram on Wednesday to announce his good news.

Cannon, also an entrepreneur, used one verse of the bible to caption his photo cradling with his newly born son. 'Weeping may endure for a night, but Joy cometh in the morning!", he wrote. The record producer was a raised as a Christian and indeed he still upholds his Christian values as he wrote "No matter how hard the world may hit you, God always reminds us of our purpose! #TrueHappiness. Welcome to Earth Son!" He ended the caption with "'Golden "Sagon" Cannon 2/21/17 #Awakened."

The former "America's Got talent Host" first revealed he is going to be a father for the third time during a radio appearance last year. The 36-year-old also told People early this month that he is excited to have baby boy once again. "Another little boy. I want a fighter,", Cannon said in excitement. His former girlfriend, Brittany Bell also confirmed the news when the beauty queen posted a photo of her baby bump on Instagram.

Nick Cannon is also a father to his twins Moroccan and Monroe from his previous marriage with Mariah Carey. Cannon may not ended up with Bell, but the TV host refused to call her his "Ex" clarifying that Mariah Carey is his last "Ex". The singer added, "Everybody else is people that I've known, loved and cared for."
