Netflix in the US is going to stream "Gantz:O." The anime science fiction film is based on the manga series "Gantz" and was released in Japan in 2016.

According to Anime News Network, the plot summary says that somewhere in Tokyo is a room with a black sphere, and periodically, people who should have already died are transferred to this room. This sphere gives them special suits and weapons and sends them out on a mission to kill aliens on Earth.

The rest of the world is largely oblivious to these missions, and these missions are lethal, but a few participants survive. The name of this black orb is the Gantz. The people who are recently revived are given high-tech weapons, and they must cooperate to defeat an army of monsters in Tokyo and Osaka, Crunchyroll said.
