Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have become new parents again. But instead of Michelle getting pregnant again, the "19 Kids and Counting" star and her husband were granted custody of Tyler Hutchens, Michelle's grand-nephew.

Daily Mail reports that the custody of eight-year-old Tyler was actually granted months ago, but they publicly welcomed him just this week. During Tyler birthday party, they posted on Facebook about their happiness at having Tyler in their lives.

"Happy 9th Birthday Tyler! We are so glad to have you in our home and a part of our family! Your bright smile and sweet spirit brings much joy to us all," the family captioned in their picture.

Tyler is actually the son of Michelle's niece, Rachel Hutchins. Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Michelle's niece has had a troubled history, having given birth to Tyler at 16. She was unable to care for him, being homeless and unemployed for some time. Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar were only too happy to take in the young boy.

While the Duggars may have taken in their grand-nephew in good faith, there are still some who are criticizing the move. Some are even surprised that they were given custody given that they are also facing some problems.

The problems, of course, pertain to their eldest, Josh Duggar who confessed to abusing his sisters, and the parents covered up the scandal. This news brought the end of the successful reality show "19 Kids and Counting," and millions of dollars worth of money in endorsements and promotions.

Jim Bob and Michelle are not the only ones being criticized as their daughter Jill and husband Derek are being slammed for their plans to return to El Salvador. The Hollywood Gossip says many say the child might be in danger not just because of the physical toll of their missionary work, but also because of the Zika virus in the country.
