It was in 2015 when fans of the "Naruto" franchise were introduced to the next generation of warriors and ninjas. The film "Boruto: The Naruto Movie" ushered in the children of the well-heroes in their journey to become warriors like their parents.

The film went on to become the highest-grossing "Naruto" film in Japan according to Anime News Network. It was also released in the United States and Canada in October 2015. And now it's time to relive the nostalgia once again as Viz Media announced the DVD and Blu-ray copy release of the film. The company even marked the occasion by releasing an English-dubbed trailer for the movie.

The action-adventure film, set years after the manga series ended, features the estranged relationship between Naruto Uzumaki, the Seventh Hokage, and his son Boruto. Boruto does not like that his father's responsibility to protect the village is getting in the way of their time spent together. He goes on to train under Sasuke, the father of his friend Sarada.

The conflict in the movie comes when Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki and Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki go after Naruto, who ended up going with them in order to protect the village. In the rescue mission, Boruto comes to know more about his father and his responsibilities leading to a deeper understanding.

Comic Book reports that creator Masashi Kishimoto was the one who wrote the story for the film, and was even the one who designed each and every character to appear on "Boruto: Naturo the Movie."

Diehard fans of the franchise will surely enjoy owning a memorable piece of the franchise when they buy the DVD or Blu-ray copy, which will be available by March 28. It has also been reported that Boruto is getting a new anime series which will premiere on April in Japan. The story will be original and will be entitled "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations."
