Travelers could now skip the baggage claim after flights now that giant hand-carry backpacks could replace the traditional huge flight luggage. Standard Luggage Co.'s Carry-on Backpack was meant to help travelers go on a multiple-day tech trip, making it an essential tech bag without the wheels. Every traveler knows wheels automatically mean extra luggage; the Carry-on Backpack was designed to keep everything at-seat.

According to Forbes, the bag began as a popular Kickstarter project and a second version is available in regular retail. Forbes measures the bag's dimensions to be about the maximum legal carry-on bags allowed in most budget airlines. Frequent business and backpacking travelers could benefit from not having to pay extra on luggage. As an extra, it could add 10 more liters of capacity.

The Carry-on Backpack's design focuses on being back-carried with its two padded backpack straps. Overloaded, the backpacks are still comfortable despite its weight. According to The Gadgeteer reported that the backpack straps can be tucked away in the top zippered pouches and if connected to the connectors at the bottom corners, can attach easily as a backpack.

The Gadgeteer said the backpack resembles a rolling carry-on bag with no wheels. The internal organization is astounding as it includes inner pouches and straps that help hold clothes. It also said the bag is expandable but it may cause trouble in airplane overhead compartments. Other areas include a laptop sleeve that fits almost any type of laptop and even include one more tablet inside.

The Gadgeteer added that without an idea of optimizing space inside the bag, fragile items inside the luggage might break. But if the bag is not expanded and is hand-carried inside the plane's overhead compartment, laptops and tablets could remain safe. Wearing the backpack as a single-shoulder bag is a bit bulky and messy when walking around; the backpack two-strap option is better.
