A New Mexico hotel employee made a polite comment about Jennifer Aniston. Now he has no job.

Terry Siegler, who worked as a shuttle bus driver for the Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado in Santa Fe, was fired from his job on Monday after speaking about the movie actress who was staying at the hotel.

After seeing Aniston at the hotel spa, some guests asked Siegler if he had seen her. He told them that he did and said she was "very sweet and much more petite than I thought," according to TMZ.

The guests went on to talk about what Siegler said. Aniston's crew overheard the guests and thought that Siegler was telling guests that Aniston was staying in the hotel.

TMZ says that one of Aniston's friends told hotel management about the incident. They fired him for violating the celebrity policy.

Siegler says he was just doing his job by being friendly towards to guests and says he didn't mention that Aniston was at the hotel until he was asked about it.

"They brought [Jennifer] up first ... Was I supposed to deny it?" Siegler told TMZ.

No legal action has yet been taken, but Siegler isn't sure if he'll sue the hotel for wrongful termination from his $30,000-a-year job.

The hotel seems to be sticking by their decision to fire Siegler as the general manager told TMZ "I cannot confirm anything about our employees but I will say that we have a very strict confidentiality policy and we do enforce those policies."

The "Wanderlust" actress recently got engaged to Justin Theroux. She will star in movies such as "We Are the Millers" and "Miss You Already," which will be released in 2013.
