When in Europe and there is a need to eat Pizza, one thinks of traveling to Italy. Any traveler who has finished their personal pizza in Italy would say the best pizza makers are in Italy. Contrary to that statement, there are five other places in Europe -- and the world -- begging to be visited and their unique pizzas eaten.

Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana, Connecticut. Boasting coal fire being their main ingredient, Frank Pepe's Pizzeria just in America uses high-heat techniques to create the best "crisp, charred, chewy crust" -- their words. "Tomato Pies," is what they call pizzas in their menu. Try the "White Clam," the pizzeria's signature dish!

Viking Pizza And Kabob, Glendale. In Glendale is a hidden gem for kebab pizza -- a strange-sounding pizza with a rich taste. According to The Local, kebab pizza surprisingly originated from Sweden, and uses kebab meat on the usual pizza ingredient suspects including kebab sauce. Order the "Viking Pizza" and watch the crew fold up the pizza into something resembling a Viking boat.

Braz Pizzaria, Sao Paulo. South America has something on pizza. Past visitors of Braz Pizzaria could not stop raving about their great service and pizza. According to Phaidon, gourmet and pizza connoisseur Daniel Young's well-researched "Where to Eat Pizza" lists Braz Pizzaria in his top 20, probably because of the "Margherita."

Baest, Denmark. The last place to go to for pizza should have been Denmark, but not really. Another pizzeria listed in Daniel Young's research, their use for fresh produce -- including fresh Danish milk for producing their Mozzarella -- really puts an amazing twist on things.

The Big Blu, Scotland. Outside Italy, many pizza restaurants specialize in Margherita. But for a food truck that travels to events to do the same to achieve the same result is astounding. Travelers in East Lothian Scotland could check on this truck's social media page to know where it is traveling next.
