It is said that there will always be a first time for everything. Experiences vary from one person to another in different aspects. Some have visited many places abroad while others haven't visited any other countries aside from the one they live in. There are also some who have tried riding various means of transportation and there are others who haven't even tried riding a boat.

Yes, this is the reality of life. Not everyone shares the same experiences just like the 60-year-old woman who have never tried riding an airplane before. But she is still blessed that she was able to get the chance to ride an airplane for the first time.

Elaine Filadelfo was on board the Virgin Airlines plane for a short flight from Los Angeles to San Francisco. Sitting beside her is an elderly woman named Sue. Elaine learned that it was the first time for Sue to ride an airplane and that she is heading to San Francisco to surprise her daughter, Refinery29 wrote.

Because it is rare to see someone who is riding the airplane for the first time, Elaine decided to live-tweet their journey. Sue was indeed happy during the flight but she also felt anxious and even had tears in her eyes.

First, Elaine tweeted about Sue's being a first-time flyer. Even the airline upgraded her and the staff was helping Sue. The pilot also came to say hi to her. Sue was excited even if her flight was delayed for two hours.

"It's so fun to see someone gleeful & mesmerized about the idea of flying - or anything, really - and not complaining about details," Elaine tweeted.

When it was time for them to take off, Sue grabbed the hand of Elaine who reassured her that everything would be okay. And like a child, Sue was looking out the window all the time. She was happy to watch the clouds and the world below her.
She was also waving out the window because she always sees planes up and she wonders what the people are like and if they're waving. But things weren't okay all the time for Sue. She started crying when they experienced turbulence. Good thing Elaine was there to calm her.

When they finally landed, Sue said, "That's it? It's over now? Wow! That was fast!" Sue added that after her experience, she can now assure her daughter, who hasn't tried riding an airplane that everything is just okay.

How's that as an experience for a first time flyer? How about you, how did you feel during your first flight?
