If fans are on edge with the game-to-movie renditions, then they have to watch "Assassin's Creed" on the big screen that comes in a virtual reality experience. Fox released the second video about the upcoming game, which was focused on Animus.

"The Science of the Animus" is the video that showcases the movie forerunners Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard that talks about how the machine works. Fassbender even noted the experience as both cool and an amazing concept. The video shows the difference between the Animus in the "Assassin's Creed" series and the character in the movie. However, Fassbender revealed that Ubisoft is also considering placing the movie version in the game as well.

According to GameSpot, Animus is a machine that allows a person in the present day to access the memories of their ancestors. In the movie, Michael Fassbender plays both Callum Lynch, the present-day character, and Aguilar, his 15th-century Spanish ancestor, whom he was able to access its memories.

The basic concept of both the game and the movie is about a guy getting in a world wherein he gets involved in his family's long dead past. The virtual reality experience is a movie extension that will allow fans and viewers to be in the middle of the action. According to TechCrunch, the immersive virtual reality app is not a game in itself, but AMD used footage shot on location from the movie's set in Malta while filming. Some were also shot in the Burbank sound studio and Radeon GPUs were used for the final render of the product.

Alienware got on board and promised to allocate Oculus Rift-powered PCs in demo stations at AMC theaters in San Francisco, Austin, and New York City. This way fans can experience the VR before and after the screening. There will also be an available 360-degree video format on Facebook that fans can access starting December. Here's the trailer!
