The superstar couple is in the midst of a custody battle over their six children in the wake of their separation. Unfortunately, their fans are in for a great disappointment since the two will not call it truce this Thanksgiving.

According to reports, an insider exclusively tells OK! that Angelina phoned his soon-to-be ex-husband Brad Pitt to invite him over for Thanksgiving. Other reports claim that the 41-year-old actress straightforwardly talked to Brad and approached him for a 'brief ceasefire' as their children; Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8, need their parents together to celebrate the American holiday.

The main thrust behind the get-together is said to be Shiloh, who has been "begging" her parents to be affable. Brad acknowledged the invitation after getting a telephone call from Angelina. Brad thanked her and she said: "I think it'll be good for us."

Brad is absolutely concerned over his face-to-face meeting with Angelina, but he'd do almost anything to spend the holidays with his children. It can be recalled during their happier times, that the couple spends it together and sharing that Brad cooks for the holidays. According to Hollywood Life, a source claims that Brad will be bringing the turkey because he wants the kids to "feel like the old times".

However, in a report by US Weekly, these rumors were debunked when a source exclusively tells the magazine that "Angelina didn't invite Brad to spend Thanksgiving with their kids." Clearly, Jolie feels that their relationship is in excessive hostility after their split, and involvement of Child and Family Services to set aside their drama and simply appreciate a supper together as a family.
