The 42-year-old Melanie Chisholm popularly known as Mel C or Sporty Spice revealed she was a victim of bullying during her time in the Spice Girls.The revelation was made in a new interview with Attitude, added she wished she had been "stronger" during her girl band days. She added that her tormentor has since apologized to her and addressed their issues.

Speaking about her new single "Version of Me" to Attitude Magazine she revealed, "'Version of Me' is about being bullied. About being in a situation as a young adult where I felt bullied and how that has affected me, and molded me in a way." When asked if bullying happened during her time in Spice Girls she explained " Yes, I'm not going to name names. But yes. It's been addressed, they were aware of what they'd done. They apologized. " sources for Daily Mail UK reported.

Mel C reported, she has turned down a £2 million to join the Spice Girls. GEM is the new name that Mel B, Geri and Emma would be creating for the upcoming reunion of the group. Since Victoria is concentrating on her growing fashion empire and Mel C is focusing on a more serious music career. Fans have been praying for a reunion on the girl power to mark their 20 years since the "Wannabe" single hit the charts.

Mel explained that her reasons for staying away in a recent essay for LOVE Magazine, "The hardest part of me was letting people down, the girls, the fans, civilization?! Unfortunately, something didn't feel quite right and I had to follow my gut". The Spice Girls managed to sell 80 million copies of their albums making them a household name and the best-selling female group. They reunited in 2007 after a seven-year hiatus and embarked on a world tour. The girls last performed in London Olympics in 2012 singing hits like Wannabe and Spice Up Your Life. Girl Power!
