Rockstar Games released an update containing a new mode called Deadline for its game Grand Theft Auto Online. Deadline mode features both a brand new motorcycle and gameplay that is reminiscent of the movie Tron. GTA Online, the multiplayer version of Grand Theft Auto V, is still supported by Rockstar Games even after more than 3 years since its launch. The game developer has done some experimenting with GTA Online. It has released a variety of updates that provided unique experiences utilizing different themes. The newest update provides a science fiction theme to the game.

As reported by tech news websites The Verge and Gizmodo and gaming websites Kotaku, Destructoid, GameSpot, and IGN, GTA Online is adding a light cycle seemingly taken straight out of the movie Tron. The new Deadline update transforms Los Santos completely into a technologically advanced world similar to the one from Tron.

Rockstar revealed the Deadline update, which offers a new Adversary mode for GTA Online. The update was released, containing possibly the coolest bike ever, the Nagasaki Shotaro. The bike comes in different glowing neon colors and leaves a deadly neon-colored trail behind it. The Shotaro bears a striking resemblance to Tron's light cycles.

The futuristic bike is not officially licensed but the similarities to the light cycles are clear. The Shotaro definitely looks like something that came out of Tron. The bike is available to ride for free within the competitive multiplayer-focused Adversary mode. If players want to ride the Nagasaki Shotaro around the streets of Los Santos, they need to purchase it for $2 million of in-game currency.

The bike is the main attraction of the new Deadline adversary mode. Playing the Deadline mode will unlock the Nagasaki Shotaro bike for purchase using in-game currency, making it available to ride on the streets of Los Santos. The mode has four players riding around a custom map on Shotaro bikes, each in different colors, attempting to block each other with the deadly right trails left by their rides. The light trails of each player's bike has the same color as the bike itself. A player's Nagasaki Shotaro will explode on impact if it drives into a differently colored trail left by an opponent.
