Jennifer Lawrence graces in a classic pink gown after her hacker was jailed this week over "The Fappening" scandal.

The actress, who was devastated because her nude photos circulated on the internet last year, walked the red carpet at the Britannia Awards in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The event is known to celebrate British talent and Hollywood stars with a "strong connection" to the UK film industry. It also recognized a host of A-list stars such as Ewan McGregor, Samuel L Jackson, Ricky Gervais, Felicity Jones and director Ang Lee.

Jennifer presented fellow Oscar-winner Jodie Foster, 53, with the Stanley Kubrick Britannia award for excellence in film and acknowledged the Silence Of The Lambs star for "breaking down barriers" in Hollywood, Mirror reports.

Lawrence said: "Jodie once said to me: 'One day you'll look back at the choices you made as an actor and it will reflect something that was going on in your personal life'.

"Well I did and the consistent theme in all of my characters was they were all white trash with too much responsibility. When you think about it, it's completely true.

"Whereas Jodie's, I see a brave woman in a scary place. It reminded me of a woman who went behind the lines and started directing when it was not trendy for women to do such a thing."

When she introduced Foster to the stage, the Hunger Games added: "Please welcome my vote for the next president of the United States."

Meanwhile, Lawrence was reported to be in high spirits after dad-of-two Ryan Collins was sentences to 18 months in prison for hacking the accounts of Hollywood stars.

BBC adds that Collins had stolen the usernames and passwords of more than 600 people, including actresses Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Scarlett Johansson, and Kirsten Dunst, by sending emails appearing to be from Google or Apple.

He was able to access the photos between 2012 and 2014, and got the name "celebgate".

Collins got charged originally in Los Angeles, but sentenced in Pennsylvania, his home state.
