After the production crew of the science fiction film Black Panther made a public declaration that the American actor Michael B. Jordan was added to a cast, that already included Chadwick Boseman (Captain America: Civil War) and the Mexican-Kenyan actress - Lupita Nyong'o. Reports came up that John Boyega of Star Wars: The Force Awakens is also in talks to join the film.

As stated by Gamers Radar, the most likely evidence that Boyega will on board the Black Panther film, after the actor posted a photo labelled 'Meeting' to his Snapchat account and then soon after that, Marvel President Kevin Feige started following Boyega on Twitter.

If Boyega and the Black Panther film production will meet halfway for the actor to join the film, Boyega could be getting ready to make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut.

According to Heroic Hollywood, the American film director - Ryan Coogler, stated that Boyega may be meeting with him for the Black Panther movie.

Also, Comic Book Movie pointed out that there's a possibility for Boyega to join the film as the actor was a huge fan of the comic book series, plus Boyega and Coogler are friends and they even attended together the premiere of "The Force Awakens."

Anyway, during Coogler's interview with Fast Company, the film director stated about the upcoming flick, "It's a specific challenge. What Marvel's doing, and what you see a lot of studios doing now that Marvel has done it so successfully, is making content that exists in a particular universe, where the characters tie in and crossover, and I think that's a great creative challenge to me-to make this movie as personal as possible."

However, as stated by SlashFilm, Boyega's UK agent said that the actor won't be in the Black Panther film. The British agent took on his Twitter account and posted, "My client @JohnBoyega will not be starring in Black Panther. Now for the news..."

Black Panther is slated to fire up theaters on February 2018.
