Kelly Osbourne has been having a tough time recently. On a recent flight, she had a drunken breakdown and had to be assisted while getting off the plane.

On June 19, Osbourne was on a flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta. Osbourne was very intoxicated on the plane and had a breakdown on the flight. By the end of the flight, she practically had to be carried off the plane by her assistant.

After the incident, Osbourne spoke to RadarOnline to explain her behavior. Her drinking and breakdown was over the recent news of her brother, Jack Osbourne, being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The Osbourne family has had a hard time with the issue, but Kelly has been taking it particularly hard.

Less than 24 hours after the flight, she took to Twitter to write "had a nerves breakdown yesterday that was cool! #Not."

The "Fashion Police" co-host told RadarOnline, "I got drunk on the plane to Atlanta. It was on an empty stomach, and before I got on the plane a gentleman came up to me and asked me how my brother was doing and told me about his brother having MS and directed me towards a website."

Osbourne browsed through the website on the plane and was overcome by the descriptions of some of the worst symptoms and cases of those who have MS. The stories and facts were too much for her to handle.

"It made me lose it because I've sat through my mother having breast cancer, my dad almost dying from a bike accident, and now it's my brother who's my best friend," she told the website.

Osbourne was very honest in her decription of what happened. The 27-year-old, who has been to rehab four times for drug and alcohol abuse admits that her brother's diagnosis was no excuse to get drunk. She also said that despite her occasional drinking habits, she hasn't turned to drugs.

"The way I live my life after going to rehab is not the way that most people do. It isn't. Yes, I still drink and I've always said that. I do have the occasional drink. I'm not using, I haven't. I won't. I'm not going to do that," Osbourne told RadarOnline.

Osbourne didn't cause problems or make a scene on the flight. As she said, "I got drunk on a plane, big deal." However, Osbourne did need help from her assistant and a security guard while walking off the plane as she was crying and intoxicated.

Osbourne is a bit embarrassed over making a fool of herself and feels guilt for making her brother think that it was because of him.

"I made a fool of myself regardless of Jack and I hate that that's even out there," she said.
