On Tuesday, a number of fans went on to Twitter and Facebook to share their condolences to Kirk Douglas death. Blame such reactions to a Facebook page that read "RIP Kirk Douglas." In the about page of the social networking site, it details that Douglas died on Nov. 25.

"At about 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday (November 25, 2014), our beloved actor Kirk Douglas passed away. Kirk Douglas was born on December 9, 1916 in Amsterdam. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page."

Representatives of the actor have already slammed reports on Kirk Douglas death hoax. Douglas joins a long list of celebrities involved in such death hoax namely Miley Cyrus, Macaulay Culkin, Sylvester Stallone, and many more.

"He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He's still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet," shares a rep of the actor to Media Mass regarding Kirk Dougllas death reports.
