Christy Mack has made an incredible recovery following a vicious beating from her ex-boyfriend last month.

The 23-year-old adult film star reportedly suffered multiple serious injuries including broken facial bones, missing tooth and a ruptured liver after 32-year-old MMA fighter War Machine - real name Jon Koppenhaver - savagely beat her to a pulp on August 8.

Christy Mack told cops War Machine came over to her house where her friend Corey Thomas was also present. The cage fighter reportedly accused her of cheating on him and beat Thomas before attacking her.

Weeks after the tragic incident, Christy Mack appeared to be back to her beautiful self again when she attended the charity gala of Face Forward Foundation - an advocacy group supporting victims of domestic abuse - in Los Angeles Sept. 13, according to Hollywood Life.

The next day, she reportedly shared on Instagram a four-square photo documenting how her face improved 2 days after the attack, weeks after and to the night she attended the gala. Along with the snaps came a lengthy statement about her road to recovery.

Christy Mack wrote that although she may look better already, she still has to make several dentist appointments to make eating more comfortable and her smile look normal. She continued that her nose fractures still need to be fixed in the coming months and she is still suffering from breathing issues.

"While my face is starting to look decent again from the swelling going down, it is still not my own. After having makeup done and dressing up for yesterday's charity event, I felt much better about how I look now. It made me feel more normal, and beautiful for the first time in a very long time," a part of Christy Mack's post read.

War Machine was on the run for days before he was finally arrested in Los Angeles. He pleaded not guilty to 32 charges including two counts of attempted murder for his alleged assault on Mack as well as for Thomas, TMZ reported.
