The sudden death of former "X-Factor" star, Simone Battle, has shocked not only her fans but her father as well. Anthony Battle, Simone's father, is in disbelief over his daughter's suicide. According to Anthony, there was no apparent cause as to why Simone would end her life by her own hands.

Like the fans of the "X-Factor" star, Anthony Battle is confused by his daughter's suicide. They may not have spoken for a few weeks but had kept an open line of communication through texting. The father added that everything appeared fine with Simone.

Simone never mentioned any difficulty with the success she got through "X-Factor." Anthony also added she was quite excited with the way her career was booming. In fact, Simone had even recorded a single with Pitbull which was released early this year. Before becoming part of the Pussycat Dolls group reboot, G.R.L., Simone was included in the top 32 before moving on to the top 17 of "X-Factor."

Aside from Anthony, friends of Simone claimed they heard from her the night before her suicide. Nothing was amiss with her texts nor did she appear to be in any form of distress. However, Simone's father believes that she could have been suffering from an "invisible disability."

Simone Battle died on September 5 in an apparent suicide in her home in Los Angeles. The "X-Factor" finalist was found by her boyfriend hanging inside her bedroom closet. An autopsy is yet to be completed.

Despite the death of Simone Battle, the group G.R.L. have reason to celebrate. Their latest single "Ugly Hearts" managed to make it at the number 11 spot on the UK charts. G.R.L., a mix of American, Canadian and British, is made up of five members including the late Simone. The other members include Emmalyn Estrada, Lauren Bennett, Paula van Oppen and Natasha Slayton.
