Tim Burton Big Eyes movie is officially going to be released to the awaiting public in December. Critics say that this upcoming Tim Burton Big Eyes flick will be a likely awards contender this year.

In Tim Burton's Big Eyes, Amy Adams will be featured as the real-life painter, Margaret Keane. She will be starring in the flick with Christoph Waltz as her husband, playing the role of Walter Keane, who, in turn, took all credit for his wife's artwork back in the 60s.

Amy Adams told USA Today, "The handling of the brush and paint, the way that Margaret creates the eyes, that is something I studied at great length. But, I never mastered it like Margaret has."

Amy Adams then went on to further discuss about her role in the upcoming Tim Burton Big Eyes movie. She added, "Margaret really believed that, as a woman, people would not buy her art. Walter convinced her the life they were able to lead was because the artist was a man, who could sell more art at a higher price than a woman. This all seems so theatrical, like something you would design for a film. But, that actually happened." In real life, Margaret won the court case, after a judge decided to call for a "paint-off" on the spot in order to test their skills.

The new Tim Burton Big Eyes flick is a drama that is focused on the awakening of Margaret Keane, her amazing success in the 50s, and the subsequent legal difficulties she had to overcome with her husband, who opted to take all the credit for all of her hard work.

Tim Burton Big Eyes is directed by Tim Burton himself, who also directed "Edward Scissorhands", "Big Fish", "Sweeney Todd", "Beetlejuice", "Batman", "Ed Wood", "Corpse Bride", "Alice in Wonderland", "Frankenweenie", "Dark Shadows", and "Mars Attacks."
