'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Episode 2 named 'The Lion and The Rose' is probably the most-awaited wedding in TV series history...and in Westeros. As expected, the 'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Episode 2 did not disappoint excited fans and would be fans of the show.

'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Episode 2 'The Lion And The Rose' may not be the most awaited episode in Game of Thrones history, but it is definitely one big event which fans have been waiting for since the show's very beginning.

The Lannisters have been wreaking havoc on the Starks since the opening episode. From young Bran Stark being pushed out the window of a tower to the Red Wedding where Robb Stark, his pregnant bride, and his mother were brutally murdered. Indeed, 'Game of Thrones' has offered more than your average amount of shock value. This shock usually came from the death of much-beloved characters, and now with 'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Episode 2, the shock is making viewers shout, for joy.

In the Purple Wedding of 'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Episode 2, King Joffrey Baratheon, and I think I speak for everyone here, finally got what he deserved. There is no character probably more despicable than his character, giving this death at 'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Episode 2 much pleasure for fans. A video compilation of Joffrey getting slapped already went viral.

And for him to die choking - and during his wedding reception - is the best revenge ever for viewers.

The Purple Wedding 'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Episode 2 shows the boy king at his worst, if previous episodes haven't already showed. Not only did the premature king taunt his uncle Tyrion with dwarves, he humiliates him further by spilling wine on his head, and kicking his cup under the table just cause.

These petulant characteristic of Joffrey in 'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Episode 2 had his everyone cringing, except his doting mother Cersei. Right when everybody wants to the "King" at that moment, 'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Episode 2 actually gives the viewers what they want. No more death of an innocent in this episode.

However, though very favourable, this death also carries with it many questions and a lot of possible twists and beginnings for the rest of 'Game of Thrones' episodes.

First of all, who killed him? There was no culprit to be shown. The 'why' shouldn't be really asked as everybody who watches GoT hates the boy. Now that the king is dead with this happening on 'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Episode 2, who will replace him? These are just a few of the questions on everyone's minds.

All of these questions may yet be answered, but one thing is for sure - the future is bleak for the Lannisters. If the first seasons showed a whole lot of deaths in the Stark family as the first bad act happened to a Stark, there is hope that there will be a whole lot of deaths for the Lannisters this season, especially with the 'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Episode 2 starting off with a Lannister's death.

Meanwhile, the hashtag #PurpleWedding began, and #gameofthrones once again began trending on Twitter as soon as 'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Episode 2 aired and gave joy to fans and celebrities alike.

'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Episode 2 star Jack Gleeson said acting out Joffrey's death was "difficult, but exciting." According to an interview with Entertainment Weekly, "You want to do the scene and character justice." For those in doubt about more spectacular episodes Director Alex Graves said on Deadline: "Joffrey's death turns a new page in the book, but oh, what a page it turns to," he said. "And the season basically starts there and loses total control."

'Game of Thrones' airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO.
