A Belgian chef is reinventing dinner with an entire meal made out of desserts. Fulfilling every child's fantasy, Belgian chef, Roger van Damme from Het Gebaar, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Antwerp, Belgium has created a dinner made entirely of sweets.

At the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok's annual World Gourmet Festival the chef showcased a five course dessert for dinner menu.

"If you've ever needed an excuse to dive straight into dessert, don't miss the decadent 5-course dessert dinner prepared by Michelin-starred Chef Roger van Damme, Het Gebaar. With his artistic presentation and unexpected taste combinations, he'll demonstrate why he's often referred to as the "godfather of molecular pastry." Those who lack a sweet tooth need not worry as each dessert, while light and flavorful, varies in sweetness and is accompanied by a glass of wine," said taste.fourseasosn.com.

CNN Travel reported that the chef says he is inspired by everything from the architecture of Brussels Aomium to the Antwerp botanical gardens and painter Roger Raveel.

Van Damme said to CNN Travel, "I try to seduce the diner with the beautiful appearance of the dessert, using different textures and interesting tastes..."here's a large difference between the levels of sweetness in each dessert -- if they were all very sweet, it would indeed be too much."

The festival is taking place from September 2nd to 8th and includes chefs from around the country.

"Highlights include: Chef Vito Mollica of Michelin-starred Il Palagio in Florence, Italy; Chef Paco Perez, Miramar Restaurant, Llançà, Spain; Chef Jérôme Bonnet, Restaurant Daniel, Paris, France; and Chef Hirohisa Koyama, Aoyagi, Tokyo, Japan," reported CNN Travel.
