Bret Michaels has reportedly had a meltdown after being booted off of "Celebrity Apprentice: All Stars." Bret was the first celebrity to be fired from the show by Donald Trump on the popular show.

RadarOnline reported that a source said after the firing "Bret was crying and totally distraught."

The source added that Bret was a mess after the filming. "He couldn't stop crying and even the producers were trying to comfort him. No one expected him to have a meltdown like that."

The source told Radar that Bret thought he was going to win the show. They said, "He couldn't believe it that he was let go so quickly. It was brutal to watch him freaking out the way he did."

Bret was the only previous winner to return to the show. Yesterday he said to CBS's "The Talk," "I got hired big on this show, and I got fired big."

The season premiere aired on Sunday and Trump said to Bret before the firing "You're asking me to pick you as a winner again, which I thought was crazy."

In the boardroom Bret was up against LaToya Jackson and Playboy Playmate Brande Roderick.

The first episode featured two teams of celebs hawking meatballs for different causes.

Today.com reported that Trump said after the firing, "I hated having to fire Bret. Who knows? Maybe soon he's going to join me in the boardroom as an adviser, where he should have been in the first place."

Bret said to Hollywood Reporter about the firing, "I thought they were punking me. I looked around to see what they were talking about."

He said to Hollywood Reporter that he believes one of his mistakes is choosing Omarosa for his team.

"She is known as evil incarnate on TV," he said. "I figured, if I embraced it and unleashed her on the other team, we would win this hands down until we had to fight each other. That grenade blew up in my hand."

Bret Michaels raised to fame as the lead vocalist of the band Poison in the 80s. One of their most popular songs was "Every Rose Has Its Thorn." Other than his music career, he turned to the spotlight again for his hit VH1 reality show, "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels" where he tried to find his love from a group of rocker-chicks living in a house together and competing for his attention.
