However, once you do find it, expect a lush rainforest and a crescent-shaped beach. Those who visit typically enjoy camping, swimming, and snorkeling, and those who like to find turtles might be in luck. This is because Englishman's Bay is a known nesting ground for Leatherback Turtles. 

Maracas Bay

Otherwise known as Maracas Beach, Maracas Bay is easily the best beach in the island of Trinidad. Located in the northern side of the island, Maracas Bay boasts of blue-green waters and off white sand. With a coastline that's 1. 25 miles (two kilometers) long, it has become a favorite among beach lovers. 

Maracas Bay can be reached by driving from the capital, Port of Spain, which makes it relatively accessible for visitors. It is one of the favorite spots of those who enjoy surfing due to its waves that can reach three feet (one meter).

Pigeon Point

It is also one of the best places to go to for anyone looking to try local delicacies. It is also a good place to find local crafts and souvenirs to take home.
