Star Clippers, a cruise company known for its tall ships, has revealed plans for new, longer sailings starting from St George's, Grenada, in the winter of 2025/26. These sailings, lasting 10 and 11 nights, will visit several new destinations, including Charlottesville and Castara Bay in Tobago, Carriacou's Paradise Beach, Charlestown Bay in Canouan, Saint-Pierre in Martinique, and Saline Bay in Mayreau. This move aims to satisfy the growing demand for extended Caribbean cruises among its passengers.

Star Clippers Announces New Sailings from Grenada

Mikael Krafft, the CEO & President of Star Clippers, expressed enthusiasm about making Grenada a home port for one of their ships. According to Breaking Travel News, he highlighted the region's ideal sailing conditions, thanks to the consistent Caribbean winds and the opportunities to explore Grenada's beauty and culture. This decision was made in collaboration with the Grenada Tourism Authority to enhance the cruise experience for guests.

Petra Roach, CEO of the Grenada Tourism Authority, praised the partnership, noting that it aligns with both organizations' focus on providing authentic experiences. She emphasized the attractions of Grenada, including nature treks, local cuisine, and traditions, making it an appealing destination for travelers.

In addition to the new itineraries from Grenada, Star Clippers will continue offering its popular sailings in Costa Rica and the Panama Canal aboard the Star Clipper. Notably, a 14-night Panama Canal cruise will start on Jan. 3, 2026, marking the first time guests will disembark in Montego Bay, Jamaica. This expansion of routes underscores Star Clippers' commitment to delivering unique and extended sailing experiences in the Caribbean.

Exciting New Stops for 2025 Cruises

Star Clippers is expanding its European travel options with the introduction of new destinations for 2025. This expansion includes the beautiful Italian town of Otranto in the Puglia region and Saint Raphael in Southern France. Additionally, the city of Nice in France will serve as a new starting point for some of the line's voyages.

As reported by Cruise Trade News, Otranto has been chosen as a fresh port of call on selected sailings next year. The Star Flyer ship will visit this picturesque town on July 8 and Aug. 26, 2025. These visits are part of an 11-night journey from Venice to Rome, offering stops at other stunning locations such as Mali Losinj, Hvar, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Taormina, Lipari, Amalfi, and Ponza. Those interested can book this cruise starting at £2,547 per person.

Another new destination, Saint Raphael on the French Riviera, will welcome Star Flyer for the first time with visits planned for May 15, May 22, and Oct. 16, 2025. The starting price for these trips is £1,620 per person.

Star Clippers is also excited about making Nice a home port for its ships in September and October 2025. This move allows travelers to experience an enhanced and comprehensive journey around Italy, Corsica, and the French Riviera.
