Seychelles Resort Unveils New Wellness Programs

In the breathtaking Seychelles, the Four Seasons Resort is taking wellness to new heights. Le Syel Spa, located atop a cliff with a stunning view of Petite Anse Bay, is the center of these exciting new offerings. According to Breaking Travel News, the spa's wellness programs use the natural elements - Water, Wind, Earth, and Fire - to help guests relax and rejuvenate.

Jean Malubdos, the Spa Manager, says these programs use the power of water and earth to bring deep healing. For example, guests can choose a Detox Ritual that uses rosemary, lemon, thyme, and black spruce in a bath. This, combined with a special detox juice, helps guests feel refreshed and healthy.

But it's not just about spa treatments. Each villa at the resort has a private pool and veranda, offering stunning views and a chance for guests to enjoy the scenery. There are also special wellness programs lasting three to five days. These include yoga, spa treatments, and NuCalm sessions - a technology that helps with deep, restorative sleep.

Couples can also enjoy special treatments. The Starlit Serenity experience is a night-time, open-air massage, and the Heavenly Connection offers a private session with organic oils and local flowers.

For those interested in local culture, the Konekte Shack allows guests to learn about native ingredients and make their own scrubs. The resort also offers high-end facial treatments with premium skincare products.

Moreover, guests can enjoy guided meditation after a hike to the resort's hilltop, combining physical activity with peaceful relaxation.

Seychelles Joins GSTC to Enhance Sustainable Tourism Efforts

Seychelles has taken a significant step towards promoting sustainability in its tourism sector by becoming a member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC). This global network brings together individuals and organizations committed to advancing sustainable tourism practices worldwide.

Getaway reported that Seychelles' decision to join the GSTC demonstrates its dedication to learning from other nations' experiences and sharing its sustainable practices, contributing to a more sustainable future for the tourism industry. The move comes as the country introduces the "Sustainable Seychelles" brand, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability.

Sherin Francis, Principal Secretary for Tourism, emphasized that joining GSTC represents Seychelles' ongoing commitment to sustainable tourism.

"We are pleased to be part of a global network of like-minded people who are committed to the same ideals and the development of a more moral and ethical tourism sector," Francis said, as quoted in the news report.

The Seychelles Sustainable Tourist Label (SSTL), an initiative in operation for ten years, serves as the foundation for the Sustainable Seychelles brand. This brand aims to elevate sustainability in Seychelles, preserving the destination for future generations and promoting harmony and shared responsibility.
