The reasons why foreigners seek St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship

You must have heard of St. Kitts and Nevis for the first time only recently and this isn't surprising. The country is located on two islands in the Caribbean and lives mainly on agriculture and tourism. The population is only about 50 thousand people. It's weird that this piece of land causes such interest among entrepreneurs around the world. The reasons for this are a cheap citizenship program and favorable conditions for travel and business.

Conditions for obtaining St. Kitts and Nevis passport by investment

A resident of any country has the right to make a contribution to receive St. Kitts citizenship. The only detail is that you must comply with government requirements. It's not so difficult if you are a law-abiding resident, absent in the world sanctions list, and do legal business. Since the program allows adding relatives to the application, they all must meet the criteria.

St. Kitts migration by investment program includes 2 contribution directions:

  1. The local national fund. The minimum amount for one person is $150,000, which can't be returned. The cost of an investment for a family of four is from $200,000.

  2. Real estate in the country. Only government-approved facilities are eligible for participation in the residency by investment program. The amount for one applicant is $200,000 and an additional $50,000 for three more family members. You can sell the property 5 years after receiving a passport.

Reliability check payment and government fees are not taken into account and depend on the number of people in the application. You don't have to come to the country to apply. It's the duty of the migration agent exclusively. Your data is transmitted and stored confidentially without the right of disclosure.

Details of St. Kitts citizenship receipt process

In general, this is not a difficult task as you make minimal effort. The main thing is to choose a suitable migration company that will deal with the process of purchasing citizenship at all stages. Migronis has extensive experience in obtaining St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship for their clients. They achieve success through premature risk calculation and direct cooperation with country authorities.

After signing a contract with a migration company, you must provide them with documents to prepare a plan for further action. Your legally competent specialist helps with paper naturalization and translation into English. His duty is also to obtain the necessary certificates to pass a reliability check. You don't take part in filling out the application as the agent does this and submits the form on your behalf.

Application processing deadline in St. Kitts and Nevis is from 3 to 5 months. Requests for additional documents are also possible and extend the period of citizenship obtaining. If you are approved, you become the owner of Saint Kitts passport for 10 years. Migronis notifies its customers of the need to extend the resident status for 6 months before the end of the term.

Why is it beneficial to be a citizen of St. Kitts and Nevis?

Despite the old rumors about the problems of the Caribbean with other countries, this region is considered one of the most popular offshore zones. Significant changes, a lot of improvements and additions of even more favorable conditions for foreigners led to this.

Businessmen are interested in buying St. Kitts passports because they consider this an excellent plan B for the case of collapse in their home country. The local tax rate for residents is very attractive. At the same time, entrepreneurs gain access to new financial instruments for conducting international trade and transactions. Companies located in the country are protected by the government.

St. Kitts and Nevis is a former British colony and current member of the Commonwealth of Nations. This status brings its residents the following opportunities:

  • visa-free regime with 120+ countries;

  • the simple procedure for registration of long-term residence and business visa in the US;

  • stay in the UK up to 6 months;

  • regular vacations on an exotic island;

  • free studying in prestigious educational institutions;

  • favorable treatment conditions in the best medical centers;

  • inheritance of citizen status.

If you are surprised at the generosity of St. Kitts and Nevis government, remember that they must compete with the other Caribbean and European countries. The interest of foreigners shows that they are doing well.
