Jamie Dornan's "Fifty Shades Darker" film topped the list of social media conversations ahead of gigantic films that will be released soon. In just one week's time, the film has recorded 245,000 new conversations. This was revealed by the PreAct service of comScore.

It is 12 days before the release date. The second is the "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" which is 85,000 lesser than the record of the erotic film. The Jedi film is 320 days before its release date. PreAct estimates that the "Fifty Shades Darker" will reach around 1.50 million new conversations says Variety.

The escalating excitement for the movie can be gauged with the millions that talk or share about the movie. It is about the extraordinary romance between a billionaire with a dark past Christian Grey and a shy fresh college graduate Anastasia Steele. The original movie "Fifty Shades of Grey" was a blockbuster hit. The sequel is expected to surpass it as it promises more thrilling twists from people in Grey's past life.

The ninth "Star Wars" movie will hit the theaters on December 15. Tupac Shakur despite his death still remains interesting evidenced by the social media buzz generated by his upcoming biopic "All Eyez on Me" which will be shown in 138 days. It has made a record of 40,592 following the Disney-Lucas Films' 159,490 conversations.

"Rings" has 40,491 (5 days before showing), "The LEGO Batman Movie" 21,622 (12), "Beauty and the Beast" 20,601 (47) and "John Wick: Chapter 2" has 12,882 new conversations 12 days before its release.

"Get Out," "The Space Between Us," and "Baywatch" all have more than 10,000 conversations. The LEGO movie will be released on February 10, the same day the Jamie Dornan movie will be released.
