Fans who have been anticipating the release of Ubisoft's "Ghost Recon Wildlands" will finally get a chunk of what the game will be offering. The Closed Beta period has been announced recently and here are some of the important details to prepare for the game's arrival.

As reported at SKNR.net, Ubisoft just made an announcement regarding "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands." The Closed Beta period, according to the company's statement, will be available only between Feb. 3 - 6 2017. The game will be made available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Those who would like to participate in the closed beta period will need to register at ghostrecon.com/beta. There's no guarantee of getting a beta key, but those who would be lucky will also get the chance to invite up to 3 more Ubisoft friends. Still, the players need to be under the same platform.

As PC Gamer reported, players would also be given the chance to full customize their avatars. As shown in the latest trailer, players will even get to choose their loadouts on top of being able to select their preferred gender, race, hairstyle and even some accessories.

There's no particular "class" in the game, allowing players to fully realize their own play-styles without limiting the equipment available. This will be a new way of building characters as opposed to what have been a stereotype with most MMOs and online FPS games.

The Closed Beta will be set on a futuristic Bolivia. Players will be tasked at taking down a group of a drug cartel members of Santa Blanca. The country have been plagued by narcotic issues and the players will have to get rid of the source once and for all.
