WWE champion AJ Styles was robbed on Monday night during a WWE live event in Arkansas. The theft took place at Arkansas State University's Convocation Center.

Styles, whose real name is Allen Neal Jones, reported that the culprit took his bag which contained several personal belongings of significant importance. Some of the items stolen from the 39-year old wrestler include a Xbox 360 console, a pair of Beats headphones, six Xbox video game CDs, a small screen TV, an iPhone, $1000 in cash, and 7000 Japanese Yen ($60.86).

The news was first reported by Region 8 News in Arkansas. The news station reports that this is the second time someone has had items stolen from them inside the Convocation Center while performing. Last September, members of the University of Toledo's football team were robbed during a game in the said venue.

Authorities are still investigating the case and Styles has yet to comment about the incident. Styles was taking part in a triple threat match for his WWE championship against John Cena and Baron Corbin when the incident took place. Styles ended up winning the match to retain his championship. He is scheduled to defend his title against WWE's top star John Cena at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event on January 29 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

Styles, who is a native of Gainesville, Georgia, is a long time video game fanatic. He confirmed his fondness for gaming in several interviews, including one with ESPN. In the interview, Styles says he often takes his Xbox 360 with him whenever he's on the road.

Styles is considered to be one of the best wrestlers in the world. The 18-year veteran signed with the WWE in 2016 where he was a surprise entrant in that year's Royal Rumble event. He has since gone on to headline multiple pay-per-views and is currently one of the top stars in the WWE's "Smackdown" brand.
