Up to $90 worth of Xbox One and Xbox 360 games are free this month of January. All these titles are available free of charge, ready to be downloaded for Xbox Live Gold members.

According to GameSpot, five games are available for the month of January for Xbox Live Gold members. These five games are available at different spans of time, free for any of the members.

Available from January 1 to January 31, "World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap" is available for free instead of paying $20. This game is similar to action RPGs like "Diablo", but with a twist of a tower defense game. Players get to build towers at the same time use their characters to fight, while receiving upgrades and items for their character.

From January 16 to February 15, "Killer Instinct Season 2" will not cost $20 for Xbox Live Gold members, but it would be free. The update will add nine new characters as well as added story content.

"The Cave" would be free, instead of paying $15, for the span of January 1 to January 15. This platformer game offers seven characters to choose from, but players can only choose three for their team, giving replayability.

Players who enjoy the $15 game "Rayman Origins" can now get it for free from January 16 to January 31. Co-op play is also available with this 2d platformer that features Rayman.

Horror game "Outlast" has been free since December 16, and will be free up to January 15 this year. This horror game features a journalist investigating a mental asylum that has been operating in secrecy.

An article on Mirror Online mentions that even if players don't own an Xbox one, they can still download the free games as long as they have an Xbox Live Gold account. Downloading all five games can net players $90 worth of content for free.
