"Wham!" singer George Micheal's death still requires further investigation as per the authorities. Information gathered was considered not enough even after the star's post-mortem a few days after he passed away.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the autopsy of the singer was rather "inconclusive" and still warrants further investigation. Thames Valley Police officer Hannah Jones made a statement to the media regarding the needed additional tests. The results can be expected in the next few weeks.

In an initial report from The Telegraph, Michael, was found dead in his home at Goring Oxfordshire, England. The report for the star's cause of death was due to a heart failure. However, the local authorities seem not to buy the idea of a simple heart attack and still consider other possibilities. Nevertheless, the police are still ruling out foul play as no evidence showed up relating to this.

The news first broke out when Michael's representative made the official statement of his death. His spokesperson told media that Michael died in peace in his home. Fadi Fawaz, Michael's partner, also expressed his shock, stating that the two of them were supposed to have lunch that day.

Besides his partner, Michael's friends have also expressed their disbelief with the star's untimely demise. This includes musical icons like Elton John, Brian May of Queen and a number of his family members and close friends.

In Michael's obituary, BBC dubbed him as "pop superstar" and considered him an artist with a great talent for singing and an equally great look. This easily made him a crowd favorite as he rose from his teen idol days to his eventual stardom.

Besides his friends, a number of charities also revealed that Michael was an active supporter in the past years. This includes the establishment known as Childine and according to the president Esther Rantzen, the star have donated "millions" to their cause.
