There have been a lot of celebrity deaths this 2016, and when it felt like it was over, it took a few more of celebrity favorites just a week before it ends. Here's 5 of the best shows in 2016 and if you haven't seen them, you still have time to binge-watch before 2016 officially ends!

1."Stranger Things"- It premiered exclusively on July 15, 2016. It's set in the 80s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. The story revolves around the disappearance of a young bog and the appearance of a young girl who is telekinetic. This girl aids the boy's friends in searching for him while the boy's older brother, his mother and the town police chief launch their own investigations.

The series pays homage to the 80's pop culture and is said to be inspired by the works of Steven Spielberg, John Carpenter and Stephen King among other. "Stranger Things" is definitely one of the best shows this year has ever seen! Digital Trends says that you must have been living under a rock if you haven't seen an episode of the show, if that's the case, time to get out of that rock.

2. "Game Of Thrones" - "The Battle Of The Bastards" was definitely one of the most watched episode of the series and it sees 2 of Winterfell's bastards in a battle for their respective honor. So whether you are for Jon Snow or Ramsay Bolton, this was an episode worth watching, it was gory, but it's also hard not to watch all the bloody scenes. "Game Of Thrones" is an HBO Original series based on the books written by George R.R. Martin.

3. "Westworld" - Another HBO Original series based on the 1973 film of the same title. The story is set in the fictional "Westworld," a Western-themed futuristic amusement park populated by androids called "hosts". It caters to "newcomers", a high paying clientele of guests who are allowed to do whatever they want within the park without the fear of retaliation from the hosts.

4. "Supergirl" - This show had a lot of critics watching it closely and fortunately for the show and its creators, it became a hit. Created by the same people behind "Arrow" and "The Flash," it's one of the most anticipated tv shows of the year, especially because of cross-over scenes from "The Flash" and "Arrow." Supergirl follows the adventures of Kara Zor-El, Clark Kent's supposedly older cousin, but because her craft was stuck in the Phantom Zone for 24 years, she appears younger than her cousin.

Audiences Everywhere says the episode, "Medusa" is one of the best episodes in this year's season. There's enough superhero action going on while at the same time tackling emotional issues among the characters as well. If you've not seen an episode, it's never to late to start now.

5. "The Night Of" - An eight part miniseries airing on HBO, it's a crime drama series that shows the flaws of the American penal and court system. If you like crime drama shows like Law and Order, The Night Of should definitely be in your tv show binge list. One of the most memorable episode from the eight part series is "The Call of The Wild", find it and watch it.
