"Passengers" is the new film that Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt's fans are raving about. However, this movie is not really getting any good reviews from critics.

This movie has been on the making for decades now. Since 2007, it has been ranking high on the Black List that are the list of unproduced screenplays in Hollywood.

According to Slash Film, the movie has struggled to get into the big screen. Before Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt took the role, the movie was offered to Keanu Reeves and Emily Blunt was supposed to star on the show.

The original budget of "Passengers" was supposed to be $35 million but when it was produced by Sony Pictures the movie's budget became $119 million. Sadly, despite the buzz of the film the movie has not been getting great reviews.

"I believe they should have found a way to explore this troubled relationship and this really f*cked up situation to its full conclusion instead of taking this story to a disastrous action-filled climax. The third act of this film is a complete mess and sidesteps the real problem introduced in this story," the site critic.

Another critic said, "it would have been better served if Pratt died in Act Three and Lawrence then realized herself that she needs to wake someone up too to avoid a lifetime alone." The critic believes that the ending would be better if Chris Pratt's dilemma in the first film should have been the same for Jennifer Lawrence's character.

"Passengers" premise of living in another planet seemed to be downright cool but could this be possible today? Space regrets to inform viewers of the film that it could not be done as of to date.

According to the site, hibernating for 120 years is still not possible. Humans do not have the technology to that yet but scientists are working on it.

Since 2015, SpaceWorks has been working on extending the timeframe of humans through stasis. The site reported that like the movie scientists conducting this study has no intention of prolonging once life. Travelers Today reported that "Passengers" was released on December 21.
