Christmas is easily one of the best Holidays celebrated all over the world. It's about spending time with family and celebrating the miracle birth of Jesus. It's also the best time of the year to witness the most amazing light displays.

With Christmas only 2 days away, it's time to take a breather from work and make time to appreciate the many beautiful light displays from all over the world. Here's a list of some of The World's Most Amazing Christmas Light Displays!

1. Melbourne Town Hall, Melbourne, Australia

Locals of Melbourne, Australia are treated to a light show as the iconic Melbourne Town Hall transforms into a gift, wrapped in bow using Christmas Lights projections. It's definitely a sight to behold that children as well as adults will enjoy seeing.

2. Via Manzoni, Milan

Milan's streets become a festive place to be in during the holidays as they light up their streets with beautiful Christmas themed light shapes and stays that way until early January. It makes walking around such a delight under those beautiful lights!

3. Somerset House, London

Seen in one of the best Christmas themed movies of all time, Love Actually, a pop up Christmas bazaar and ice skating rink brings on the Holiday cheer in the Somerset House in London. If in London during the Holidays, it's a good time to visit Trinity Close, Burnham on Sea, Somerset, hailed as the most festive street in UK by Peter Henn, according to Express, homeowners on this little street decorate their homes with 100,000 Christmas lights for charity each year.

4. Ayala Triangle, Manila

If there's one thing Filipinos are good at it's finding the silver lining in every dark cloud and knowing how to celebrate Christmas. The Ayala Triangle display in Manila will definitely chase away The Grinch with its extravaganza of sounds and lights show.

5. Erfurt, Thuringia

If Oktoberfest is any indication of how the Germans party, then it will give you an idea of how they celebrate Christmas as well. In December, the old quarter in this German city transforms into a busy Christmas market that puts everyone in a festive mood with its amazing Christmas themed lights as well as the bratwurst and gluhwein for sale.

6. Place Broglie, Strasbourg

Self proclaimed Christmas Capital of the world, Strasbourg shows they are worthy of the title as they light up their Christmas market with lights that date back to 1570. If they've been putting up impressive Christmas lights since then, perhaps they do deserve the title of being the Christmas capital of the world.

7. Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen

Fairy lights? Check! Christmas market? Check! Lights projected over the lake? Check! Tivoli Gardens definitely know how to put up amazing Christmas lights displays! As if the Tivoli Gardens aren't gorgeous enough, it transforms into a more beautiful place once their Christmas decorations are up.

8. Gardens By The Bay, Singapore

For such a small country, Singapore definitely celebrates Christmas in a big way and one proof of this is their amazing Christmas Wonderland, covering 57,000 square meters! The Christmas Wonderland features sculptures, an Ice Palace and a fairground.

9. Midtown, New York

New York is known as the city that never sleeps, which makes sense for it to always have twinkling lights on. For Christmas, 6th Avenue has displays that make it look like they're ready to decorate a giant tree, with giant Christmas balls in bright red on display.

10. Statue Square, Hong Kong

Hong Kong Central where the Statue Square is, transforms from a public pedestrian square into a wonderful Christmas park complete with twinkling lights and a giant Christmas tree. Locals and tourists alike are in for a wonderful surprise when the neon lights show starts accompanied by music.
