The health condition of Formula One champion, Michael Schumacher has been a mystery to many since his family did not release any update on his situation. Despite that, fans continue praying for Schumacher and many are leaving well wishes on his Facebook page. Recently, a new update surprised many when someone got a photo of Schumacher.

A photo of the F1 legend was smuggled out of his house by an unknown person who even tried to sell it for £1 million pounds. Said person secretly took the photo and attempted to earn a huge amount of money.

In the said photograph, Schumacher was seen lying in bed in his home in Geneva, Switzerland. The man who took said photos attempted to sell it to European media outlet. Because of that, this caused outrage to the family of Schumacher who wanted to keep everything in private.

An investigation is still being held to determine who took the photos. According to News.com.au, German prosecutors said that the pictures are an apparent violation of the former Ferrari driver's “personal range of life.” The wife of Schumacher wanted the police to take hold of the disrespectful person but the investigation is currently on hold.

To recall, Schumacher sustained severe head injuries after a skiing accident in France back in Dec. 29, 2013. After being in a coma, he managed to wake up and was taken back to his home in Switzerland since Sept. 2014. It is said that he is getting a $200,000-a-week care at a special medical facility located at his Lake Geneva home.

"Michael's health is not a public issue, and so we will continue to make no comment in that regard," his manager Sabine Kehm said, according to Mail Online. "We have to protect his intimate sphere. Legally seen and in the longer term, every statement related to his health would diminish the extent of his intimate sphere."

Even prior to the accident, Schumacher was already protective of his privacy and wants a clear distinction between his personal life and his public one. The family said that the legend wants privacy about his current condition. With that, they felt abused due to the disrespect of the person who secretly took his photo and earns money from it.
