James Franco admitted having some similar experiences with his character Laird Mayhew in his upcoming movie "Why Him?" The 38-year-old actor plays an unconventional and weird rich man who tries to win his girlfriend's parents in the 20th Century Fox comedy film.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, James said that although no father have disliked him as much as his girlfriend's father in the flick, there were times when a mother or two has dished him in his teenage years. Franco shared a hilarious experience when he used to throw pebbles on somebody's windowpane and the mom just came out and shouted "Get out of here, you scum."

"The Interview" star also told ET that he is lacking in romantic gestures now as compared with his younger days. James Franco also admitted he's been pretty bad at the "Romance Department." And that he needs to work more on being dreamy and sweet, though he is a caring man.

Meanwhile, Brian Cranston who plays Ned Fleming, the father of Stephanie (Zoey Deutch), says making the "Why Him?" with James Franco was so far the most fun experience he ever had. Cranston also told ET that he tried not to laugh. This is to not lose character nor a great line while shooting the film.

James Franco, who is known for making hilarious movies also dished his brother Dave Franco, saying he's all relaxed on his upcoming wedding with Alison Brie. According to James, neither he nor their other sibling Tom Franco may be chosen as the best man on the "Now You See Me 2" actor's big day. He added that the family will not be as traditional as others during their weddings.
