Michael Bublé decides to put his family first. Days after the singer and his wife Luisana Lopilato announced their three-year-old son Noah was battling cancer, Bublé cancelled out his supposedly performance at the BBC Music Awards on December 12. Bublé and Lopilato would also pull away from future engagements to concentrate on their son.

Steve Wright announced Bublé's withdrawal from the concert on his BBC Radio 2 show. Bob Shennon, BBC Music Director, said in a statement from E! News, "We send Michael and his family our very best wishes." Bublé is set to host the Brit Awards in London on February 22 and the Canadian equivalent, the Juno Awards, in Ottawa on April 2. However, BBC said that there is no decision made about these appearances.

Bublé and Lopilato made the news about their son last Friday on Facebook. The couple wrote, We are devastated by the recent cancer diagnosis of our eldest son Noah who is currently in treatment in the United States. We've always talked a lot about the importance of the family and the love we have for our children. Luisana and I are going to spend all our time and attention to help Noah to get better, by suspending our professional activities for now."

Bublé and Lopilato requested their fans to pray for their son and respect their family's privacy at this moment. The couple are positive that they will have much support from the people around them and with their faith in God, they are confident that they can win this battle.

Meanwhile, Robbie Williams and Craig David have been included in the line-up of the BBC Music Awards. The ceremony will take place at London's ExCeL arena. The 1975, Emeli Sande and Zara Larsson are expected to perform at the show which will be hosted by Fearne Cotton and Claudia Winkleman.
