The prospects of a Donald Trump presidency in the coming US elections next week is very much a possibility.  And the United States in general is divided with this likelihood. For a candidate with no political experience, lacks diplomacy, and has a voter base of mostly white male, the chance of making Trump president scares not just Americans but people from other countries as well.

But we know that those who passionately support the Trump campaign does not resemble with their admired candidate. Some of them are the exact opposite of what their presidentiable portrays. The wonder of travel is that we can see for ourselves what these people look like in their element and perhaps understand why they prefer to make America great again via a Trump presidency.  However, brace yourself for its unlike what one would expect. Stuff's Ben Groundwater has this to say about these Republican states;

Tennessee One of the strongest Republican states, famous for its bourbon whiskey.  The whiskey is produced is the rural areas where Trump is a favorite. Though this would come as a surprise for visitors, the state also features two of its bustling multiethnic cities - Memphis and Nashville, known worldwide for its music and arts, very much worth travelling.

Montana One of the most beautiful states in the US with so much to offer both local and tourists alike.  A big-sky country, with horse haciendas in rocky highlands and throngs of bison grazing the great golden fields. The state has a strong evangelical background and multiethnic is not much of a force.

Utah This state is comprised of mostly Mormons. Though conservative you'll be surprised that it's a fun state after all.  Activities such as rock-climbing, mountain-biking and skiing are to go for. It also boasts of its national parks of Zion and Bryce Canyon as destinations to enjoy. To one's amazement, the State a reverse of the likes of a Trump it roots for.

New Hampshire This is not a typical Republican state and by far more conservative that any of its New England neighboring states, though equally beautiful. This is where Donald Trump got an early push. It has a small-town appeal that shields a dogmatic flaw.

Illinois Donald Trump was a hit in the Illinois primaries and keeps a major block in downstate rural areas.  While many travelers won't notice this instantly for most will plan to visit sophisticated Chicago that offers great music and food plus well known sports stadiums. The state is one the most visited among locals and tourists alike.

Alaska Sarah Palin's home and the party's fortress.  However, the political biases shrink to the stunning snow peaks, glaciers, rivers and the unending impeccable plains. Very much appealing for a visit.

Alabama This is a state that though considered conservative, guns are prized, abortions a no no, and migrants not entirely cordially accepted. Get a preview of the southern hospitality and a rich history of the civil rights movement when you check in this state. In Bount Country where 93 percent of its citizen are white-86 percent voted for Mitt Rommey, a Republican candidate in 2012. If you want to understand the pollical topography of the US, then sked a visit here.

North Dakota Among the states, most Americans will make this last on their list.  Nothing remarkable and attractions that will lure most Americans nor tourists in this rural state.  Perhaps this itself will be the very someone reason to visit this lowly state.
