Despite being hounded with numerous issues this year, Taylor Swift just signed a lucrative multi-year deal with major telecom company AT&T. Entertainment Weekly reports that the deal includes performances including one as a headliner at the AT&T DIRECTV Super Saturday on Feb. 4 as well as special content. While the full details of the multi-faceted deal have yet to be revealed, fans can expect to see more from the 10-time Grammy winner in the near future.

The telecom company announced it as well via Twitter, and the singer charmingly responded with "Thanks @ATT, this is gonna be fun."

In terms content, this is in line with the telco's effort of creating more original content than just putting mere ad placements. Original videos and content from the pop star could mean serious advertising bank for the company.

CEO of AT&T Entertainment John Stankey said that they are expecting the 2017 Big Game weekend to be the best one yet now that Swift is taking over. He also proclaimed his excitement of bringing events and special content to Swifties while celebrating one of the biggest sporting events ever alongside one of the biggest pop stars in the world today.

She will also be performing on a stage that will be specifically made for the performance alone, which will be held at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

In an official statement made by AT&T, the headlining stint will only be start of a wonderful partnership with the singer. This will also be the first time that the country turned pop singer will take part in the Big Weekend festivities. While the event is still six months away, fans can get a hold of passes for the event through AT&T promotions and contests.

CNBC thinks that this event will grant precious advertising time for the telecom company, especially since the Superbowl is probably one of the biggest advertising events ever. Ad placements for the last Superbowl went up to $5 million - and that's just for a 30-second slot.

The company said that they'll be releasing more info about the deal in the near future.
